How many years does it take before something is truly a tradition? At Edgemont we have been celebrating the start of the school year with a community Chalk the Walk for 5 years! Each year community members are invited to join students and staff on the eve of the first night of school. Together we laugh, reconnect and scribe messages for students returning to school the next day. 

The past 2 years we have been so grateful to have the Edgemont Community Center join us and arrange for food trucks during the event.  Rain or shine, we have enjoyed this time to come together before the busyness of the school year takes flight!
