Parent-Teacher Conferences 

Thank you to all the parents and guardians who came to our School Conferences. We had a great turnout! Wishing you a very happy Spring Break and we will see you back at school on March 30, 2026. 


Book Fair 

Thank you to all the parent volunteers for helping with the Spring Book Fair. It was a big success! 


Farewell 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Edgemont School Community for the warm welcome and support I have received over my time at Edgemont. It is hard to believe that I have been here since June as Acting Assistant Principal and then Acting Principal for February and March. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time getting to know students and supporting them with their learning. 

Please know that Carol Hall will be the Acting Principal when students return from Spring Break. She was here in January and will be a familiar face in the office for staff and students. We will also welcome Nancy Gillott, a retired principal, who will be the Acting Assistant Principal.

Parent-Teacher Conferences Reminder 

Our conferences are March 19 and March 20. There is no school for students on Friday, March 20 and no school for kindergarten on March 19 and 20. 

Booking opens: Saturday, March 14 at 9:00 AM 
Booking closes: Wednesday, March 18 at 9:00 AM 

We look forward to connecting with you to discuss your child’s learning and progress. 

  • IPP students: If you have already met with your child’s teacher about the IPP, there is no need to book another conference. 
  • Interpreters: Available upon request. 
  • Online options: Available upon request. 

You can access the booking system through your MyCBE account. If you are unable to attend the scheduled conference times, please reach out to your teacher to arrange a phone call or an alternate interview time. After Wednesday, March 18, at 9AM, please contact the office directly to make an appointment.

Book Fair has Arrived! 

Many of the families were asking about the Book Fair. Please note that the Book Fair runs Thursday, March 19, 4:30-7:30 pm and Friday, March 20, 9:00 am-12:00 pm. Thank you to Joseph and all the parent volunteers for helping to get this set up and ready for families.
